These guidelines from the Western Australia Centre for Health and Ageing have been provided to ensure that people with dementia who live in remote communities are correctly diagnosed and receive the services that they, and their families, require.

The posters from Dementia Centre for Research Collaboration and the Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service, Northern Territory provide clinicians and health professionals working with Aboriginal communities in remote areas with a hard copy resource that can be left in the community after the visit.

This booklet from the New England Dementia Partnership has been written for the Aboriginal Community, to raise awareness of dementia and how to reduce the risk of dementia.

This resource was produced to raise awareness about the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander carers who provide support to people with dementia. The video features the personal stories of carers and also includes commentary from people working in the dementia field.

This poster was designed to raise awareness about dementia among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The poster explains the risk factors for dementia and highlights some of the signs of dementia.
