She obtained her undergraduate medical degree from University of Nottingham, United Kingdom before completing her higher specialist training in Geriatric Medicine in Northern Region rotation and doctoral research studies at the Institute of Ageing, Newcastle University. Over the last 12 years, she has dedicated much of her time towards establishing ageing research at the University of Malaya.

I had prior experience as a community development worker, engaging with various stakeholders to support inclusive health and rehabilitation programs.
