Digital basics and online safety in aged care

Helping older people stay connected and independent
Digital skills are increasingly important for older people — whether it’s staying in touch with family, accessing services, or enjoying hobbies. Without these skills, many risk becoming socially isolated or losing independence. Supporting digital confidence aligns with Aged Care Quality Standards 1 and 7, which emphasise dignity, choice, and meaningful engagement.
